This is not easy to do, but the first step is realizing this is the other person's feelings NOT yours. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and everyone is not nice about it. Realize that person may be struggling and doesn't even know it yet... they will, life will catch up and one day they might be ready to make a Positive happy change!
